Your major

Understand how to influence and manage the public perception of an organisation. Learn to effectively communicate with chosen targeted audiences through the production of engaging content, targeted messaging and strategic campaigns. Along with writing skills and event management, you will develop an understanding of new media, digital marketing and crisis communication. This degree is professionally accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Australia.

Your industry experience

All our bachelor’s degrees include a guaranteed Work Integrated Learning opportunity. In units Media and Communications Project A and B (MDA30006 and MDA30007), design and implement a media product of your choice.  In units Digital Marketing Project 1 and 2 (DIG30001 and DIG30002), you'll work in teams on a digital advertising or marketing project.
