Swinburne Vietnam Alumni Homecoming Gala Dinner: A Memorable Reunion for the Alumni Community

On 24 October 2024, Swinburne Vietnam successfully hosted its inaugural Alumni Homecoming Gala Dinner, bringing together alumni from different generations alongside distinguished guests for an evening of reconnection, celebration, and inspiration. More than just a reunion, the event provided an opportunity to reflect on shared achievements while looking ahead to future aspirations.

The Gala Dinner was honoured by the presence of Professor Pascale Quester, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and President of Swinburne University of Technology, Australia; Professor Tien Kieu, Member of the Swinburne University Council; Dr David Hoang, Director of Swinburne Vietnam; as well as many other distinguished guests.

Throughout the evening, alumni reconnected through engaging networking activities, interactive games, and meaningful conversations. One of the highlights of the event was a series of inspiring stories shared by outstanding alumni, who reflected on their academic and professional journeys while encouraging the next generation of Swinburne students to pursue their ambitions with confidence.

Addressing attendees at the event, Professor Pascale Quester remarked:

The Alumni Homecoming Gala Dinner 2024 marked an important milestone in strengthening the Swinburne Vietnam alumni community and reaffirmed the enduring value of lifelong connections built through education. By bringing together knowledge, culture, and shared experiences, the event laid the foundation for future alumni initiatives that will continue to foster collaboration, inspire achievement, and cultivate pride among generations of Swinburne graduates.
