Swinchellasia 2026: A colourful celebration marking 7 years of Swinburne Vietnam
Swinchellasia 2026 has officially taken place in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, with Can Tho set to host the celebration soon. Returning with a fresh new look, this year’s festival marks the 7th anniversary of Swinburne Vietnam.
Inspired by the concept of four DNA streams — Media, IT, Business, and Semiconductor — Swinchellasia 2026 was more than just an entertainment festival. It created a space for students to explore their identities, build connections, and express their unique personalities.
Hanoi: Thrilling Competitions and a Vibrant Cosplay Showcase
From the very first hours, the festival grounds came alive with a series of energetic activities, beginning with exciting Vovinam competitions. Interactive game zones and activity booths attracted large crowds, creating a lively atmosphere filled with laughter and excitement. The cosplay area also became a standout attraction, featuring creative character transformations that reflected students’ passions and individuality.

As night fell, Swinchellasia continued to ignite the stage with live music performances and DJ sets, taking the festival atmosphere to new heights. What made the performances even more meaningful was the active participation of students, lecturers, and staff members, who dedicated time to rehearsing and confidently showcasing their talents on stage.

Another highlight of the event was SwinTalent, an award category dedicated to recognising outstanding individuals and teams. The programme celebrated students’ achievements, creativity, and personal growth journeys while inspiring the Swinburne community to embrace challenges and continuously improve themselves.
This year’s festival also welcomed ASTA Beauty as a sponsor. Their interactive photobooth and product experience zone attracted many students, offering opportunities to capture memorable photos and explore beauty products, creating a fun and engaging self-care experience alongside the festivities.
Ho Chi Minh City: A Festival of Connection and Community
Also held on 18 April, Swinchellasia 2026 at Swinburne Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City campus became much more than a birthday celebration. It created lasting memories and meaningful moments that continued to resonate long after the event ended.
The stage came alive with music and dazzling lights, guiding emotions throughout the evening. Meanwhile, exciting Lucky Draw sessions kept the crowd engaged, bringing anticipation and surprise to participants.
Beyond the performances, Swinchellasia transformed into a colourful festival space where students could participate in creative activities such as painting, henna art, tarot experiences, and relaxation zones featuring mocktails and tea breaks. Mini games, laughter-filled interactions, and photobooth corners contributed to a complete festival experience, allowing every attendee to enjoy the event in their own way.

Da Nang: Exploring Identity and Sharing Positive Energy
On 21 April, Swinchellasia 2026 continued its journey at Swinburne Vietnam’s Da Nang campus, bringing a youthful, welcoming, and inspiring atmosphere to students.
A variety of activities were available throughout the event, beginning with check-in stations where students received “DNA” wristbands that encouraged interaction and group formation. Participants also joined light-hearted games and enjoyed the “Unmask Your DNA” fashion showcase featuring creative pyjama-inspired outfits.
The DNA Connection Zone offered a relaxing and engaging experience, featuring massage and spa services, light refreshments, and a special birthday candle-blowing celebration for Swinburne Vietnam. Together, these activities created a meaningful and memorable festival journey for everyone involved.
Having successfully completed its vibrant celebrations across three regions, Swinchellasia 2026 now looks forward to bringing more unforgettable experiences to the Swinburne Vietnam community in Can Tho.
