In 2024, Swinburne Vietnam proudly hosted Career Week 2024 – a flagship event under the Career Success Program, where students and alumni unlocked promising career opportunities.

With the theme Tech4Impact, the event explored how technology is shaping sustainable careers while highlighting the role of young generations in revolutionizing the labor market.

1. Career Discovery Journey – Career Orientation Workshops

Career Week 2024 kicked off with three intensive workshops in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, delivering practical knowledge and inspiration from leading guest speakers:

  • Mr. Dylan Nguyen – Manager of Recruitment, Cake
  • Mr. Bao Long Nguyen – Associate Manager, TOPCV Vietnam
  • Mr. Do Ngoc Son – Editor, VTV & Founder, Sol Do Media

2. Expert Dialogues – Panel Discussions

Two panel discussions featuring top industry experts gave students deeper insights into the labor market and career trends:

  • CV Power-Up Session: 109 CVs were reviewed and refined directly with recruiters, boosting students’ confidence.
  • Mock Interviews: Professional interview simulations helped students sharpen job application skills.
  • LinkedIn Photoshoot: Professional headshots to enhance personal branding.

5. Impressive Numbers

  • 517 participants including students and alumni of Swinburne Vietnam.
  • 23 corporate partners joining the event.
  • 300+ internship opportunities offered in 2024, opening doors for real-world experience and skills development across industries.
