Orientation Week
Orientation Week is designed exclusively for new students as an important first step before officially beginning their university journey. It is not only an opportunity to complete essential enrolment procedures, but also a chance to meet new friends, connect with lecturers, explore student life, and learn about the support services available throughout your studies at Swinburne Vietnam.
As a mandatory program for all new students, Orientation Week helps you become familiar with the university’s processes, procedures, and communication systems, ensuring you are well-prepared for academic life at Swinburne Vietnam.
Throughout the week, students will participate in a range of key activities, including:
🔹 Welcome Day – Complete enrolment procedures, receive your student ID card, uniform, and welcome gifts from Swinburne Vietnam.

🔹 Conception Day – The largest welcome event of the year, featuring performances, interactive activities, academic experiences, student club showcases, and opportunities to connect with the Swinburne community.

🔹 Orientation Day – Learn about the academic program structure, university learning methods, online learning platforms, academic regulations, and the various support services available to students.

🔹 GC Placement Test – A mandatory placement test designed to determine the most suitable level within the Global Citizen program, helping students build an effective learning pathway from the very beginning.
