Swinburne Vietnam Alliance Program is an international alliance between Swinburne University of Technology in Australia and FPT University in Vietnam. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated full-time lecturers in various subjects who are passionate about education. Successful candidates will contribute significantly to teaching, curriculum development, research while engaging in administrative responsibilities and other activities
Key Accountibilities
Communication of Swinburne’s Educational Values
- Promote and communicate the core educational values and training philosophy of Swinburne.
Program Research and Development
- Develop projects related to the Global Citizenship program, focusing on skills such as critical thinking, innovative thinking, mindfulness, research, academic writing, and teamwork.
- Conduct research and evaluate the application of global citizenship skills in enhancing learners’ English proficiency.
Program Delivery
- Organize training sessions, recruit and train teaching staff.
- Ensure a 100% English-speaking working environment.
- Teach 4–6 classes per week per semester.
- Organize experiential learning activities both within and beyond Swinburne Vietnam to enrich the student experience.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to effectively train and manage teaching staff.
- Organize exam preparation activities to help learners achieve international English certifications.
Other Tasks
- Perform other duties based on project needs or as assigned by program or institutional leadership.
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Master’s degree or higher from a reputable international university in a developed country; education-related degrees from the UK, Australia, or the US are preferred.
- Experience in designing and delivering international English programs for students.
- Ability to integrate English teaching with global citizenship skills such as presentation, teamwork, debate, critical and creative thinking, research, and leadership.
- Passionate, innovative, and committed to educational excellence.
- Friendly, open, and communicative.
- Customer-oriented, with a focus on creating value for learners.
- Detail-oriented and persistent in ensuring training quality.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full proficiency in English; 100% use of English in communication with students, teachers, and during all school events.
