Quy định học phí

 

Học phí để học tập tại Swinburne Việt Nam toàn khoá là 513.270.000 VND (tương đương khoảng 22.000 USD).

Swinburne Việt Nam có học bổng đặc biệt ưu đãi cho các thí sinh đăng ký nhập học nhằm khuyến khích tinh thần thay đổi để học tập tốt hơn. Điều này hỗ trợ to lớn cho thí sinh và gia đình có mức học phí hợp lý để học chương trình quốc tế ngay tại Việt Nam.

Trường hợp sinh viên nhập học tại Swinburne Việt Nam những muốn chuyển tiếp ra học tiếp tại Swinburne University of Technology (Australia) thì cần trả mức học phí được áp dụng tại Australia (khoảng 38.000 AUD/năm học/2 kỳ học). Biểu học phí tại Swinburne Australia tham khảo tại  LINK

Học phí theo mức học bổng thông thường được áp dụng tại Swinburne Việt Nam. Sinh viên thường đăng ký thi tuyển và xét học bổng nhằm đạt được các mức học bổng.

Ghi chú: Khi có biến động kinh tế, học phí có thể thay đổi hằng năm nhưng không quá 10%. Các mức học phí được thông báo tới thời điểm hiện hành và có thể thay đổi

1. Phí nhập học

Sinh viên đăng ký nhập học cần đóng phí nhập học là 4.600.000 VNĐ (Bốn triệu sáu trăm nghìn đồng), khoản phí này không được hoàn trả.

2. Học phí

2.1 Học phí chương trình Công dân toàn cầu: dành cho toàn bộ sinh viên theo học tại Swinburne Việt Nam, sinh viên sẽ được đánh giá xếp lớp đầu vào theo từng mức độ.

Số mức học tối đa: 6 mức.

Thời lượng học mỗi mức: 2 tháng.

Học phí: 14.000.000 VNĐ/mức.

2.2 Học phí chương trình chuyên ngành: học phí được đóng theo từng học kỳ hoặc theo lộ trình đóng học phí sinh viên đã được gửi khi nhập học. (Đối với sinh viên chuyển tiếp từ cơ sở Đào Tạo Quốc tế và được miễn giảm môn học, học phí sẽ tính theo số môn sinh viên còn phải hoàn thành).

Số kỳ học: 9 học kỳ (bao gồm cả giai đoạn thực tập tại doanh nghiệp).

Thời lượng học mỗi kỳ:  4 tháng.

Học phí chuyên ngành: 57,030,000 VNĐ/ kỳ (học phí chưa tính học bổng).

3. Các khoản phí khác

3.1 Phí học lại: gồm học lại chính môn bị trượt hoặc môn khác thay thế cho môn trượt. Sinh viên không đạt môn sẽ phải học lại.

Phí học lại môn chuyên ngành: 15.910.000 VNĐ/môn.

Phí học lại chương trình công toàn cầu: 14.000.000 VNĐ/mức.

Phí học lại Vovinam: 2.330.000 VNĐ/mức.

3.2 Phí nhập học lại: phí nhập học lại áp dụng đối với các trường hợp sinh viên đã có quyết định cho thôi học sau đó được đồng ý quay lại học tiếp. Mức phí nhập học lại là 2.300.000 VNĐ/lần.

3.3 Phí làm lại thẻ sinh viên: sinh viên khi nhập học được phát miễn phí 01 thẻ sinh viên. Trường hợp sinh viên yêu cầu làm lại thẻ cần đóng phí 100.000 VNĐ/lần.

3.4 Phí phúc tra: Sinh viên có nguyện vọng phúc tra do thi không qua môn sẽ phải nộp phí. Phí này sẽ được hoàn trả nếu kết quả chấm lại có thay đổi. Phí phúc tra 200.000 VNĐ/lần

3.5 Phí bảo hiểm Y tế: sinh viên nộp theo quy định của Nhà nước.

4. Các chính sách liên quan tới học phí

4.1 Chính sách ưu đãi, học bổng tài năng:

Ưu đãi học bổng tài năng: Tuỳ từng chương trình Đào tạo sinh viên đủ điều kiện có thể được cấp học bổng. Đối với sinh viên ở diện được cấp nhiều loại học bổng, ưu đãi thì về nguyên tắc chỉ được nhận một loại học bổng, ưu đãi tốt nhất.

Học bổng sẽ kéo dài toàn bộ thời gian học chuyên ngành. Sinh viên sẽ được xem xét lại mức học bổng nếu không đạt điểm ‘pass’ trong các môn học của học kỳ trước hoặc vi phạm kỷ luật nhà trường như chậm nộp học phí, đi học không đầy đủ hoặc hoãn học quá hai học kỳ.

4.2 Chính sách nộp trước học phí, bảo lưu học phí, hoàn trả học phí

• Sinh viên thôi học trước ngày bắt đầu (là ngày học hoặc tập trung đầu tiên, lịch cụ thể được ghi trong thông báo gửi tới sinh viên) của khoá học hoặc kỳ học sẽ được trả lại 80% học phí thực nộp trừ đi phí bản quyền (nếu có).
• Sinh viên thôi học trong vòng 2 tuần kể từ ngày bắt đầu của khoá học hoặc học kỳ (trong vòng 01 tuần đối với chương trình Công dân toàn cầu) sẽ được hoàn trả 50% học phí thực nộp sau khi trừ đi phí bản quyền (nếu có).
• Sinh viên thôi học sau 2 tuần kể từ ngày bắt đầu (sau 1 tuần đối với chương trình Công dân toàn cầu) sẽ không được hoàn trả học phí đã đóng.
• Sinh viên đã nộp học phí sau đó có đơn xin bảo lưu (tạm ngưng- Defer) và được chấp thuận thì phần học phí này sẽ được bao lưu, khi sinh viên quay lại học sẽ được trừ vào phần học phí phải nộp. Sinh viên có yêu cầu bảo lưu sau 2 tuần kể từ khi kỳ học bắt đầu (sau 1 tuần đối với chương trình Công dân toàn cầu) sẽ không được chấp nhận và không được hoàn khoản học phí đã đóng. Trường hợp này được coi là sinh viên bỏ/nghỉ học kỳ đó (Leave of Absence).
• Sinh viên nếu được xếp học vượt khung chương trình chuẩn sẽ không phải nộp học phí các môn học vượt ngay mà vẫn theo kế hoạch nộp học phí theo kỳ ban đầu và đủ số kỳ. Trường hợp sinh viên thôi học thì sẽ xem xét nếu môn học bị vượt so với số tiền đã đóng thì sẽ thực hiện truy thu học phí còn thiếu.
• Sinh viên đăng ký học ít môn hơn so với khung chương trình chuẩn sẽ không được hoàn học phí đã đóng theo kỳ nếu sinh viên thôi học (drop out) .
• Sinh viên học thừa số tín chỉ theo lộ trình chuẩn sẽ phải nộp bổ sung học phí của những tín chỉ thừa theo mức học phí môn (15.910.000 VNĐ/ môn).
• Phần học phí nộp dư (nếu có) sẽ được chuyển thành học phí của kỳ tiếp theo.
• Sinh viên thôi học và chuyển tiếp sang Swinburne, Australia sẽ cần tiếp tục đóng học phí theo học phí sinh viên quốc tế tại Swinburne, Australia.

Nếu gặp khó khăn về tài chính, sinh viên phải làm đơn xin gia hạn học phí. Đơn gia hạn phải được trường chấp nhận và nộp trước khi học kỳ mới bắt đầu 10 ngày.

5. Quy định về thời hạn nộp học phí và các khoản phí

• Sinh viên có trách nhiệm hoàn thành nghĩa vụ học phí tối thiểu 05 ngày làm việc trước ngày bất đầu của khoá học hoặc học kỳ mới. Trường hợp xin gia hạn học phí, sinh viên cần nộp đơn xin gia hạn và cần nộp trước ngày bắt đầu kỳ học 10 ngày làm việc.
• Với các khoản thu khác, sinh viên sẽ nộp ngay khi có phát sinh.
• Các trường hợp sinh viên không hoàn thành nghĩa vụ học phí và các khoản phí khác đúng hạn được xem như thôi học tự nguyện.

Tuition Fees Regulations

The tuition fee for studying at Swinburne Vietnam for the entire course is 513,270,000 VNĐ (Equivalent to about 22,000 USD) per course.

Swinburne Vietnam offers special scholarships to encourage students to enroll, aiming to foster a spirit of change for better learning. This provides significant support for applicants and families to afford reasonable tuition fees studying international programs in Vietnam.

In case students enrolled at Swinburne Vietnam wish to transfer to study further at Swinburne University of Technology (Australia), they will need to pay the tuition fees in Australia (approximately 38,000 AUD per academic year/2 semesters). Tuition fees are based on the standard scholarship levels applied at Swinburne Vietnam. Students apply for admission exams and scholarship assessments to achieve higher scholarship levels.

Note: During economic fluctuations, tuition fees may change annually but not by more than 10%. The tuition fee levels are announced up to the current time and are subject to change. 

The scholarship will cover the entire duration of the major. Students will be reconsidered for the scholarship amount if they do not achieve a ‘pass’ grade in the subjects of the previous semester or violate the school’s discipline such as not attending full-time or postponing studies for more than two semesters.

1. Admission Fee

Students applying for study are required to pay an admission fee of 4,600,000 VND (Four million six hundred thousand dong), which is non-refundable.

2. Tuition Fees

2.1 Global Citizen Program Tuition Fees: for all students studying at Swinburne Vietnam, students will be assessed for placement according to their academic performance.

Maximum levels of study: 6 levels and a foundation level if student English competency is not satisfied the level 1

Duration of study per level: 2 months.

Tuition Fee: 14,000,000 VND per level.

2.2 Major Course Tuition Fees: tuition fees are paid per semester or according to the tuition fee payment schedule provided to students upon enrollment. For students transferring from international institute and exempted fromsome units, tuition fees will be calculated based on the remaining credits that students need to complete).

Number of semesters: 9 semesters (including internships in companies).

Duration of study per semester: 4 months.

Major course tuition fee: 57,030,000 VND per semester (tuition fee excluding scholarships).

3. Other Fees

3.1 Retake Unit Fee: includes re-enrollment in failed units or substitute units for failed units.

Major course retake unit fee: 15,910,000 VND per unit.

Global Citizen program retake fee: 14,000,000 VND per level.

Vovinam retake fee: 2,330,000 VND per level.

3.2 Re-applying Fee: re-applying fee applies to cases where students have decided to drop out but are later approved to return to continue their studies. The re-applying fee is 2,300,000 VND per time.

3.3 Student ID Card Replacement Fee: students are issued one student ID card upon enrollment. In case studentsrequest a replacement, a fee of 100,000 VND per time is charged.

3.4 Appeal Fee: Students who wish to request a review due to unsatisfactory exam results must pay a fee. This fee will be refunded if the review results in a change. Review fee: 200,000 VND per time.

3.5 Health Insurance Fee: students must comply with the government regulations.

4. Tuition fees policies

4.1 Scholarships policy

Scholarship incentives: Depending on the entry exam and student academic profile, qualified students may be awarded scholarships. For students eligible for multiple types of scholarships or incentives, they will only receive one type of scholarship or the best incentive available.

The scholarship will cover the entire duration of the major. Students will be reconsidered for the scholarship amount if they do not achieve a ‘pass’ grade in the subjects of the previous semester or violate the university’s discipline such as late payment of tuition fee, not attending full-time or postponing studies for more than two semesters.

4.2 Advance payment policy, tuition fee retention, tuition fee refund:

• Students who withdraw before the start date (the date of commencement or the first orientation day, as specified in the notice sent to students) of the course or semester will be refunded 80% of the actual tuition fee after deducting copyright fees (if any).
• Students who withdraw within 2 weeks from the start date of the course or semester (within 1 week for the Global Citizen program) will be refunded 50% of the actual tuition fee paid after deducting copyright fees (if any).
• Students who withdraw after 2 weeks from the start date (after 1 week for the Global Citizen program) will not be refunded the tuition fee paid.
• Students who have paid tuition fees then request a deferment and are approved will have this amount of the tuition fee retained, which will be deducted from the tuition fee to be paid upon returning to study.
• Students requesting deferment after 2 weeks from the start of the semester (after 1 week for the Global Citizen program) will not be accepted and will not be refunded the tuition fee paid. This case is considered as the student stops studying that semester (Leave of Absence).
• Students placed in overloading study with approved will not have to pay tuition fees for overload unitimmediately but will follow the original plan for paying tuition fees by semester.
• Students who enroll in fewer units than the standard study plan (underload) will not be refunded tuition fees paid for that semester if they drop out from the program.
• Students with excess credits according to the standard schedule will have to pay additional tuition fees for those excess credits at the unit tuition fee rate (15,910,000 VND per unit).
• Any excess tuition fees paid (if any) will be transferred to the next semester’s tuition fees
• Students drop out from Swinburne Vietnam transferring to Swinburne, Australia will need to continue paying tuition fees according to the international student tuition fees at Swinburne, Australia.

If students encounter financial difficulties, they must submit a tuition fee extension request. The extension request must be submitted 10 days before the start of the new semester and accepted by the university.

5. Regulations on deadlines for tuition fee payment and other fees

• Students are responsible for fulfilling the tuition fee obligation at least 05 working days before the start date of the course or semester. In case of requesting a tuition fee extension, students must submit the extension request 10 working days before the start of the semester.
• For other fees, students will pay immediately upon occurrence.
• Cases where students do not fulfill their tuition fee obligations and other fees on time will be considered withdrawal and drop out from studies on purpose.
