“TRAO” – WHEN SHARING IS A SPECIAL GIFT As one of the first projects of SSC – Swinburne Vietnam Student Council – HCMC, SUS Business Club and SWEET – Swinburne Event Team, “TRAO” is considered to be a starting point for students to send their love & support to unprivileged children. Under the cold weather of December, Swinburne Vietnam HCMC students together brought a warm and loving atmosphere to Dieu Giac Shelter at District 2. The children’s laughter and smiles when participating in each meaningful activity and receiving small gifts always make us feel warmer than ever. SENDING LOVE WITH SWINBURNE VIETNAM The Mid-Autumn Festival is a special occasion for Vietnamese families, then 2022 Mid-Autumn Festival for Swinburne students in Ho Chi Minh City will be a very special occasion where they can share their love with each other on every path. First, students had a fun time making traditional lanterns from scratch while bonding with each other during the lantern-making sessions. Then, they had a chance to make some donations to do fundraising to prepare Mid-Autumnn giftsets for destitute people around every corner of Ho Chi Minh City. <h1><span style="font-size: 16px;">“Lighteria” project is a student-run project by Utopia – Swinburne Social Club dedicated to raising funds to bring warmth and support children in need for the upcoming new year in Phong Tho District, Lai Chau.</span></h1> <img class="aligncenter wp-image-23776" src="https://swinburne-vn.edu.vn/wp-content/uploads/lighteria.jpg" alt="" width="800" height="533" /> <div>     This meaningful trip has raised the awareness of students at SVAP about different situations in life, how to respect differences and how to show empathy for others. Therefore, Lighteria Project has done a great job in expressing SDG 1, especially target 1.4 – ensure that all men and women, in particular the poor and the vulnerable, have equal rights to economic resources, as well as access to basic services. </div>
