Samson Trek

It is a total of 12 km of mountain climbing to discover paradise scenery. Students will have the chance to escape the noise of the city to reach a peaceful and small village on the way to go up the mountain. They can slowly climb to Samson peak with a height of 1700 m above sea level. On the top of Samson Mountain, the panoramic view of the beautiful Dalat city looks like a miniature “Ha Long Bay” appearing right before our eyes.

Based on that information, Swinburne Vietnam StudentHQ was pleased to announce a trekking trip to Samson (Da Lat) from 24 to 26 February 2023. This was a great opportunity for students to overcome their limits, exercise their health and prepare the spirit of energy for a new year 2023. Besides, this trip also helped students at Swinburne Vietnam to expand their network and interact with each other, connecting the student community in general more firmly, creating a premise for more effective collaboration in the future. Moreover, this field trip was a remarkable chance for students to understand more about SDGs, Vietnamese culture, especially interesting knowledge about Samson and Da Lat. Additionally, long-lasting positive memories for students could be formed through this unforgettable experience.
