The fieldtrip to Son Tra Penisula is hosted by Global Citizen at Swinburne Danang. This journey aims to connect with the wonders of the natural world and promote the well-being of our future global citizens. Through the trip, we will organize educational and nature-focused activities, also students can immerse themselves in the beauty of our surroundings, learn about environmental conservation, and develop a genuine sense of responsibility towards our planet. Moreover, this fieldtrip helps students relieve stress and recognize the significance of stepping away from digital devices to fully appreciate the wonders of the natural world.

During this field trip, students engage in a wide range of activities that provide them with meaningful lessons, fostering a deeper understanding of what it means to be a global citizen. One of the key lessons learned is the utilization of sustainable resources provided by nature like the use of banana leaves for both writing and food decoration. It serves as a powerful reminder of students’ responsibility to protect the environment.

Students also join Happy Run to focus the importance of physical well-being – through engaging in exercise and maintaining fitness, the care of bodies is the way “they can empower ourselves to make positive changes in the world”. The trip incorporates mindfulness practices, allowing students explore the concept of trust, which proved to be an essential quality for global citizens.
