Swinburne Sprint 2022

After finishing the program and having these skill sets developed and refined, our students are capable of becoming Change Makers of the world. So, we – Swinburne Vietnam – were offering students an opportunity in the spirit of “education is not filling a bucket, but lighting a fire” (William Yeats) to get involved in an amazing initiative to design a solution to critical problems.
The Swinburne Sprint competition is a five-days step-by-step active ‘learning by doing’ process for answering critical questions through problem-solving, and designing a solution through prototyping. The outcomes are then presented to a critique panel (Students could consider these as clients or customers).
After a week of hard work, the Swinburne Sprint’22 competition ended with a blast of innovative and outstanding projects. Each and every single team participated with passion and enthusiasm in creating their programs.
The Swinburne Sprint aims to become an annual national competition inviting students to consider how they might ‘touch the future’ in education (Christa McAuliffe) and become involved in the process of change making: solutions designed by students, for students. By joining this program, students will not only gain valuable skills and knowledge but also contribute towards achieving SDG-4 which calls for inclusive and equitable quality education, as well as promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. This is a great opportunity for those who want to make a difference in the world! This is a great chance for those who are passionate about making a difference in the world and want to use their creativity and innovative ideas to help solve real-world challenges.
