Chaleur 2022

To introduce their series of activities, Utopia Club organised an event dedicating to all Vietnamese women named ‘Chaleur’ – a French noun meaning ‘warmth’.

Using ‘Chaleur’ as the name of this event, Utopia wished to bring warmth from sincerity, as well as to honour the beauty of women. With the message ‘Women are for love’, the event targeted homeless women and housewives in difficult circumstances – they are the ones who deserve to be cherished and cared for.

Through the meaningful event, our students at Swinburne Vietnam represented clearly actions for SDG 2, specifically for target 2.1. The target aims to end hunger and ensure access by all people, in particular the poor and people in vulnerable situations, including infants, to safe, nutritious and sufficient food all year round.
